Project Leadership
"The People Skills of Project Management"
You are invited to join us for the June up-Island PMI - Vancouver Island Chapter "Lunch and Learn" Session. In this interactive session, Sharon deLure and Barbara Walker of TaylorMade Solutions will be speaking to us about "Project Leadership - the People Skills of Project Management".
Today's Project Managers have to go beyond traditional project delivery practices and applying the tools of the trade; they need to master the art of Project Leadership!
Good leadership skills enable a Project Manager to harness the energy and capabilities of a Project Team in such a way that the performance of the team is greater than the sum of its parts. Often referred to as the "human side" or "people skills" of Project Management, Leadership is widely accepted as the critical factor in determining the ultimate success or failure of a project.
In this session Sharon deLure and Barbara Walker of TaylorMade solutions will be exploring the "finer" side of Project Management - the "people side".
Participants will also have the oppotunity to claim 2 PDU's.
